十七阶魔方 你见过吗?
Oskar从12岁就开始于荷兰构思设计智力游戏了。三十多年过去了,他已然成为了誉满全球的智力游戏制造者。而Oskar开始研究魔方却得益于BramCohen,他在2008年给Oskar的一个谜题令他开始这方面研究。今天,他的许多作品都在益智游戏商店有售,许多三维拼图玩具在他的网店有售。
When Oskar heard of the world records being set for twistypuzzles,
like the 7x7x7, 9x9x9 and 11x11x11 byPanagiotis Verdes from Greece, he wanted to try his hand at settinga new record himself.
With sponsorship from his close friend ClausWenicker, Oskar set about designing and testing a number ofprototypes, and his third attempt was printed successfully withShapeways.
Sorting and dyeing all 1539 pieces took Oskar 10 hoursof work, followed by 5 hours of assembling. The result is anoversized (140 millimeter, 5.
5 inches) and fully functioning "OverThe Top" 17x17x17 puzzle.

但同时我觉得有些困惑。我以前见过有七阶的魔方(也做得非常有弧度,如下图),并听说有人证明了九阶以上的魔方是不能存在的(?),因为在机械结构上是不稳定的。
